Like an old pair of jeans

If you're looking for a sheer white, I will hook you up. I have enough for all of us and I just keep buying them, because darn it, it's my favorite.

Today I will show you Revlon - Sheer Pink (006)
WARNING - Crap load of pictures ahead because I love my nails with the color :p

Ahhhh, life is complete.
If you're looking for that "classy old rich lady" look ... look no further ;)

I can not express to you how much I love this look.

It's neat, put together, and just makes your nails gorgeous!

I feel like this is the sheer white version of OPI's Bubble Bath.

Certain polishes make my ears hurt, this one is quietly understated.

All of the pictures above are with flash. It photographs much more white with flash and the visible nail line (VNL) is much more visible than in normal light.

In real life and in normal lighting Sheer Pink looks just a bit pink, but still white.

This polish is sheer, which can be good or bad, depending on your personal preference. Personally, I love how the VNL peaks through, but it is definitely build-able.

All of these pictures are with 3 coats.

I find Revlon works pretty well with Seche Vite, so even a fourth coat to reach opacity is no biggie.

I really love how just about any length of nail will look like pure hotness with the type of shade.

The formula on this one rocks my socks.  I have no problem with streaky-ness or uneveness; it self levels really well.  I love Revlon's brushes in general and it makes working near the cuticle a breeze, as well as around my C-curve, which is often difficult with short fat brushes like from Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure line, ewww ugh.  Anyway that's off topic.

  5. This one reminds me of Dior Shell which I used like crazy, similar color so wearable and just plain simple and nice. I don't know what happened to it. :-(

I need to buy something like this color again, like you said like an old pair of jeans!

  9. I totally understand the obsession with sheer white creams! I just bought a bottle of Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in Pink Slip today. Love the color. Hate the brush, though. But LOVE the color!

  10. I would like to retract my earlier praise for Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure Pink Slip. After three very unsuccessful attempts to apply this polish without horrendous streaking, I will be throwing the bottle against the wall and going out in search of the Revlon Sheer Pink to try instead. Oh, and if you have found another sheer white cream that doesn't streak like a naked person in Central Park, PLEASE do let me know!

  11. Today I can recommend a color without hesitation. It is Revlon's Sheer Petal. I went on the hunt for the Sheer Pink today, and they had a special--buy one get one 50% off. So OF COURSE I had to buy two. Anyhoo...I saw a color next to the Sheer Pink called--you guessed it--Sheer Petal. It is slightly less pink and goes on very nice. You've probably already tried it, but I had to give it a shout out just in case! :)

  12. Sally Hansen's Pink Slip works for me, if I am very Patient and wait like 2 hours between coats, but I adore the finished product so I can be dedicated when I want sheer white nails.

I used to wear sheer whites in the 90s , all the formulas i loved back then are now discontinued :(

I just purchased the Revlon as I love a pink hue to the sheer white

  13. I have nails like yours Loodie. They look exactly the same. My Polish / German Grandfather and mother both have super thick, strong fingernails, only downside is brittleness if I don't use my oils. Winter is here and it's stripping all the moisture from my body and nails, despite wearing 2 pairs of gloves when I go out ><
