I can't stop taking pictures

I haven't loved a manicure quite like this in a while.  You know the type you just keep taking pictures of even though each one turns out exactly the same.

DOTS!!  Actually, my first dots ever.  I stalk ANOTHER bottle of polish?! quite regularly. I saw this manicure a while back, but recently was looking at her swatches of Quirius nail polish and stumbled across it again.  I just about ordered a bunch of Quirius, still debating...

She is the Queen of Doticures and in general has some of the best color combinations I have ever come across.  My eyeballs want to marry her color combinations.  If you ever need inspiration or something cool to look at head on over ... CLICK

Since I took so many pictures, I will bombard you with them NOW..

Before topcoat it has some 3-D properties.

But it's just glorious with topcoat!

She has a white version of this manicure, which I can't wait to try as well.

So many players:
Base color: Essie -Licorice (x2)

Dots:
Essie - Haute as Hello, Peach Daiquiri, Mesmerize, Mint Candy Apple, Lilacism
Ruby Kisses - Neon Green, Tangerine, Neon Yellow, Blues Clue
China Glaze - Pool Party
The neon colors had to be double dotted.

Do you dot?

MY EYES!!!! They're BURNING

Misery loves company, so I have to subject your eyes too.

Actually there is nothing sad about this color.  It is freaking fantastic!

And loud ... like a crying baby.

China Glaze - Purple Panic (Neon)

Like most neons, this not only dries semi-matte, but is also really hard to capture.  I can't say this is dead on, but close.

This neon is more special than most.  Not only is it loud, but it also has secret blue/purple flash shimmer.

YAY!!

Flash shot!

Here is another shot with flash, but this time with some natural light mixed in too.

LOL if you click on these to make them bigger don't mind my crusty fingers, ewwww sorry.

These are all 2 coats with top coat.

Here is a shot in natural light.  You can't see the blue/purple flash and the base color is actually a bit darker and brighter.

How cute is my ring finger? :P

That was a recent pick-up line from my metro ride.  Yea no, you can't get my number.  WTH.

Another glitter worth wearing

China Glaze - Flying Dragon NEON

I've been in a purple-y kind of mood lately and China Glaze's Flying Dragon (neon) was right up my alley. It has some glitter in it, but it's small and will easily smooth out with Seche Vite or other thick top coat.

I have top coat with most of the pic's except for the last ones, which you will notice an obvious difference.

As with most purples, this color has many camera faces.  This is the flash version ...

... but so is this.  I think the flash was not as direct.

This is the indirect sunlight version.

Awwww, I have a boo boo on my pinky.

Even more indirect light.

Indoors in fluorescent light.

mmmkay, so it's obviously hard to capture.

Here is a side by side of before and after top coat on the flying dragon. As with all neon's this is expected and pretty "cool" in it's own way ... that has been confirmed by my hubby.

Is there some mythical flying dragon I don't know about that this polish name comes from. Someone please enlighten me.
