Since I took so many pictures, I will bombard you with them NOW..
Before topcoat it has some 3-D properties.
But it's just glorious with topcoat!
She has a white version of this manicure, which I can't wait to try as well.
So many players:

ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm seeing this for the first time, lol! Love it! They're so.. lickable *shifty eyes* after topcoat...

ReplyDeleteloooooove love love this! =) Dot manis are the best!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I need to try a dot mani again. My first attempt was an epic fail. What do you all use to make the dots? Any tricks to it?
ReplyDeleteAww, why? I used the little tool in the 5th picture. Here is a great tutorial for other options ... http://sugarmedic88.blogspot.com/2011/05/how-to-80s-neonbright-leopard-nails.html
Delete...otherwise, just a steady hand.
Thanks. Sorry, I didn't see the tool in the picture. I have a set of paper embossing tools that look similar. I'll look at the link and try again. My dots were all uneven and messy when I tried doing a pastel combo for Easter.
DeleteSometimes my non-dominate hand would slip; I had to pay attention. May I suggest less coffee ... or crack ... whichever floats your boat. :P
DeleteHoly canoli, Loodie, this is gorgeous! I am going to try a black and colour dotted mani, soon. Yes, I am. I like to do dots. I am severely nail art challenged and even I can do dots and have fun nails. :D
ReplyDeleteI think I am challenged in this way as well. It was super easy and fun!
Deletei see why you love this!!! it's totally gorgeous, so cute
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, I see why you keep snappin shots, its so dang cute! really loving it,I must try it, I do dot quite often, its so fun and has many possibilities.

DeleteABOP is definitely the queen of dots, lol! She has gorgeous nails...but so do you! This explosion of color over black simply Rocks...I love fun/funky manis :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting mani!
ReplyDeleteI just got my dotting tool a month ago and I still haven't used it. Thank you for sharing these pics and link to ABOP's blog. So much eye candy ;D
I do not dot ^_^ because I haven't yet bought a dotting tool but this looks amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried anything like this yet because I'm very impatient but I love love the look of it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! Looks fab!
ReplyDeleteI actually love ABOP blog and she really has some freakin cool stuff. I however, tried dotting once and was a complete and utter dot failure. Since then, I have been way too scared to try again. I have great sets of brushes and dotting tools and all they do is sit on my shelf mocking me. Plus, my poor nails have been cut down to the meat and look even more pitiful than ever. Lastly, this is one gorgeous mani!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute manicure, really love it!
ReplyDeleteThese are so nice!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely DO dot...and now I know what I'm doing with my Color Club Pride collection I just got.
ReplyDeleteI love your nails! I used to dot way back when DEVO was big! LOL And back then a guy noticed my nails and I told them that's how the polish applies out of the bottle, he believed me! *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeleteI love dots! This looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove!
ReplyDeleteI just got a dotting tool, but I have no idea how to use it. You should do one of your fabulous videos about this.
I LOVE the design and can't wait to try it myself. Could you do a video on dotting tools-which one to buy, how to use, etc? I have seen them but have no idea how to use them. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for sharing your art and your knowledge with us.
ReplyDeleteMelissa
I can't stop watching!!! Amazing mani!
ReplyDeleteI love this! So glad you took so many pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love this look but for some strange reason when I apply a top coat to dark polish it keeps drying with a murky look at the tips of my nails :-( so I have two minds about trying it ...
ReplyDeleteI love this soooo much!! Your pics make me want to run out and buy dotting tools so I can do this, too!
