Help Please!

*In my best Robert Stack voice* ...

This is a true story, from the files of Unsolved Mysteries.  What you are about to see is not a news broadcast.  Join me.  Perhaps maybe you can help solve a mystery ...

During my epic haulage week, I came across this OPI in a crusty shop in a shady part of town.  It had an interesting duo quality I couldn't resist.

The only problem is, it wasn't wearing its name tag.

The bottle was sporting a smooth silver cap covered in plastic wrapping with "Odessa" written on it, kind of like the bottle here. But the bottle is from OPI.  It has a number engraved in the glass ... 56641148.  Perhaps this isn't really an OPI color after all though.

Beige , pink, shimmer.

There is definitely some golden and green quality to it as well.

It's opaque in two coats.

If this is an "Odessa" polish, where are they hiding them because I want more.

I'm stumped.  Suggestions?

  1. Is this possible it?

  2. Hmm....I have one that looks *kinda* like that called My Big Break (not to be confused with Ali's Big Break), but mine is more mauve. Hmm...weird cap!

    And I had to lol at the Unsolved Mysteries reference! Loved that show.....and to this day, the theme music freaks me the eff out!

  3. It kinda reminds me of Catherine the Great, but I don't think thats it.

  4. I don't know, first thing I thought was OPI Telepathic Topaz but it doesn't seem bold enough for it.. I hope someone finds the answer :D!

  5. LOL! The Unsolved Mysteries reference is awesome, I used to love that show. I can't watch the newer's just not the same without Robert Stack's voice!

    I don't know what that polish is unfortunately. I'll see if I can come up with any ideas, but it doesn't look familiar at all.

  6. Pretty! I hope someone solves this mystery. @_@

  7. Maybe it is an OPI color and they replaced the cap with another brand? The color that came to mind is: OPI Man Of La Mancha.
    It doesn't quite look like it but that is the best I came up with. I hope this mystery is soon solved!! Good luck!!

  8. That's "Fail" by OPI... or Odessa... got it??? -_- But honestly, it looks like Nutcracker Sweet by OPI, no?

  9. Looks sort of like Significant Other Color by OPI...

  10. I think Akuma is right. Looks like Nutcracker Sweet for sure.

  11. Not a flipping clue, lol....looks amazing on you, though! Let us know when the mystery is solved...

  12. I was also coming to say it looks like Nutcracker Sweet :)

  13. I love Robert stack think his voice is über sexy! Since I am not an OPI guru sadly I failed in this mission for you. However, it is truly a stunning color!

  14. I totally reminds me of I'd Like to Thank from the 2007 Holiday in Hollywood collection. Here's ALU's link for reference:

    I have this one and it looks like your bottle in preson but my swatch is more frosty. Puzzling?

  15. @Jackie - I came across that site as well in my searching!

    @Megan - I agree, I want to take prettier pictures though, hopefully the sun will cooperate.

    @jbrobeck - hmmmm

    @Deborah - I think we are getting closer, but ...

    @Ali - I *tried* to watch the newer episodes :( No not happening. The magic that was Robert Stack was gone.

    @purplegreenpanda - I think we are getting closer.

    @Frankenstyna - *sigh* I wish.

    @Akuma Kanji, emmablossom, and Amber - I think I might have to agree! Thank you ladies!

    @Anonymous - hmm, I don't think so, but that one is a pretty duo!

    @Gottwinkies - I will!

    @Fingers - Totally. Smooth and sexay!

    @AllThingsNails - OMG that collection gives me total LEMS! RAWR!

    @For Me, It Works - Good God I wish!!

  16. Looks a lot like movin' out. Maybe the original cap was broken, so they changed it.

  17. Oh boy I wish, because that one is a true beauty! I am convinced so far that it is OPI - Nutcracker Sweet. :D

  18. It kinda looks like opi- merryberry mauve

  19. Looks kind of like Not Like The Movies from the Katy Perry collection
