Square Shape
Round Shape
I would say these are more round than oval. Oval is more tapered at the tip. To achieve a more oval shape continue to remove the corners.
Another video for suggestion purposes! *swoon she swooned swooningly*
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteI like the round on you a lot. ;)
ReplyDeleteaww thanks! But yours are still the best!
Deletehow is it possible that your nails looks so good both round and square.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet! If only my brain could see it that way.
Deletenice, but I prefer mine square but the ends break so easily that sometimes I end up with squoval or even round nail shape
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Those sharp corners. They can snag on everything.
DeleteI hate you for having so much control over what nail shape you have.
ReplyDeleteI try to change mine and my nails just laugh at me before going back to squareness.
And by hate you mean LOVE, I just know it. :P Your nails are mean :( ... put them in time out, or wear a sheer white to torture them ;)
DeleteYour nails are... perfect. Seriously. Gorgeous. I think you have the best nails of any of the bloggers I follow.
ReplyDelete*keels over*
DeleteThanks Loodie now I have that song stuck in my head. Now granted its a great song but it's early and I haven't had my 2nd coffee yet! I try so hard to have square but I end up with the shape you call round here. The edges are just too sharp with square tips plus I have a weird quirk (yes more than one!) that I rub my fingers on my nails and that rounds them even more! I just love your nails and think they are great with either shape.
ReplyDeleteLOL.
DeleteI think your nail shape is gorgeous. It suits your nail beds well and accentuates your hands. Hubba hubba!
*sings* I want your naaaails! They look great both ways. As for me, I prefer a squoval, considering my C-curve :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd that CG is gorgeous!!! I need it!!
:D
DeleteDude, I understand ... c-curves are a limiting factor. Your nails are simply gorgeous!
^_^ thank you, but yours are perfect to me!
DeleteThis is my shape preference. I have tried to do "squoval" but my nails curl in a bit on the sides, and it just never looks right. This shape looks good on you, but then what doesn't look good on you!?!?
ReplyDeleteAww thanks. Oval is so classic and feminine.
DeleteI went rounded because especially in the winter my nails get dry and the corners mysteriously disappear when I bump a tip on anything. Which leads me to why I really wanted to comment tonight...
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you for your homemade remover recipe. My nails do tend to get horribly dried out in the winter. Not only do the corners disappear but I get vertical cracks? fissures? fault lines?...in the top layer and must file away to prevent peeling. Since mixing up your elixir? No more uber dry, winter nails. I've tried the Zoya (I cringed and bought an 8 oz bottle strictly because I wanted that spill proof bottle), and while it was an improvement over regular remover (I don't use the pure acetone), yours is much better. In the several weeks I've used it, they have returned to summer condition. I can't wait to see how they'll be in the actual summer. So again, THANK YOU1
Wooooooo hoooooooo!! :D
DeleteOn each nail, my c-curve is entirely different!! Ugh! And my nails have slightly different lengths/widths, too. I once tried shaping them into a squoval, but my they just laughed, looked ridiculous for a day, and then I decided to go back normal. Which is... well, I don't know. Squoval? Round? I guess they follow the shape of my fingers, pretty much!
